On January 8, 2025, President Biden declared the wildfires a major disaster for Los Angeles County, enabling assistance for housing, repairs, and recovery. Visit www.DisasterAssistance.gov or call 800.621.3362 for details.

The declaration allows retirement plan sponsors to offer “qualified disaster recovery distributions” (QDRDs) up to $22,000 and expanded loan options for affected participants. Contact us if you’d like to amend your plan to include these provisions.
